This policy explains what information The Nail Room By Jess (operated by Jessica Perez) collects when you use this website to book appointments, and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, mobile number and password (passwords are stored encrypted by our login provider; we can't see them).
• Appointment details: the services you book, dates and times, notes, and inspiration photos you choose to upload.
• New-client form: allergies, nail/skin conditions, photo permission and how you found us. This is used only to serve you safely.
• Payments: card payments and saved cards are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, only the card type and last 4 digits.
• Reviews you choose to leave, and gift card details (names, emails, phone numbers and messages) entered at purchase.

How we use it

• To schedule, confirm, remind you about, change or cancel your appointments.
• To take deposits, and, if you're a regular with a card on file, late-cancellation or no-show fees as described in our booking policy.
• To send booking-related emails and, if you opt in, text messages.
• To keep notes that help us do your nails the way you like them.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the services that run this site on our behalf: Supabase (accounts and data storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages) and Netlify (website hosting). Each of these is bound by its own privacy and security terms.

Text messages (SMS)

If you tick the box to receive texts, we'll send appointment confirmations, reminders, updates about your bookings, waitlist openings, and occasional “time for your next set?” reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts at any time, or HELP for help. We never share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.

Photos

Inspiration photos you upload are private and only visible to us. We only post photos of your nails if you said that's OK on the new-client form, and never photos of your face without asking.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while you're a client so we can see your history. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by contacting the contact details on this site. Some payment records may be kept as required by law.

Children

Clients under 18 should book with a parent or guardian's permission. This site isn't directed at children under 13.
